Wednesday Tour - Rossengarten Tour

After a short leisurely roll in with a view of the Latemar, we ride past green alpine meadows through the mystical Karerwald forest into the next valley, Welschnofen. The Rosengarten, our constant companion, shines in all its glory and makes the ascent up to the Niger Pass a little more bearable. (*The stretch from Welschnofen to the Niger Pass can be covered with the cable car and is extra to pay) Arrived at the pass, however, we are still not at our destination! We continue towards the Catinaccio for our lunch break at the Messnerjoch hut, situated at 1800 meters above sea level. After lunch we continue in the direction of the Karer Pass, passing the famous Carezza Trail, which can be included in the tour as a "treat" (the ascent by train is paid extra). The way back to the starting point in Obereggen is flat on forest paths.
